VPM (Volleyball Pillar Management) was set-up in January 2011 by a group of veteran with the objective of promoting volleyball activities to ex-clubs, state and national players. The main aim is to create more healthy living activities for the veterans as well as maintaining the close rapport for those who have enjoyed this great game in their younger years.
It is also the intention of VPM to share its experience in volleyball by developing and carrying out programs that will benefit the younger generations. Towards this, VPM would like to work closely with the established organizations to raise the standards of the young players so that they can go on to represent the state and nation, and make us proud. To realize this, a systematic and resourceful approach would have to be adopted. We should also not under estimate the tremendous dedication, determination and funding required in making this a success.
VPM is also committed in its social responsibility to contribute towards the character building and career advancement of the youngsters as the game had given so much to the veterans previously. VPM will incorporate positive elements in its programs and venture to cooperate with companies and institutions of higher learning for the benefit of the young players. Individuals/Corporations with intention to contribute or be partners to these endeavors are most welcomed. Moving ahead, VPM have sought and obtained approval on 2nd September, 2011 from the Sports Commission Malaysia under the name Kelab Sukan VPM, Bayan Baru (Registration No. 4856/2011).
