VPM starts the new year by kicking off the 'Volleyball Goes 2 School Program' at SK Convent Green Lane on 19th Jan 2013. SK Convent is the 3rd school on the Island to have this program. With S.K. Sg Batu, in Teluk Kumbar being the first in July 2011, followed by SK Sacred Heart in Balik Pulau.
We would like to thank the school administration for the support of VPM's objectives through this program to bring awareness and to popularize the game of volleyball to schools. We also hope to assist the schools in setting up a volleyball team, and also to scout for young talents to be nurtured into future stars.
Also we would like to thank our VPM youth players, some of whom are Ex-Convent players, Penang State Players, and National Player for taking their time to help facilitate this program.
